CoMMO is Now Betty's Take Out - BTO

Cute little shop with outdoor patio seating out front! Sipped on a cider. Was told they are open on Labour Day =)

lovely little purveyor of drink and and foodstuffs. They piggyback off Betty's liquor license so are bringing in some pretty special bottles that the LCBO is too lazy/ too big to bring in. Great local beers at not really much of a markup too. A freezer of prepped meals, local baking, and other such sundries. Bought a couple of nice bottles for under 40 and was not disappointed by either. Highly recommended . Go.

Nice selection of wine and beer, and pleasant staff.

CoMMO recently opened on King E and I’d highly recommend it for anyone in the neighbourhood! They also have second location that just opened on Queen E with a great patio out front I’m excited to try once patios reopen. They carry an awesome selection of wines for all price ranges and their model is to stock wines that you can find at some restaurants but aren’t carried at the LCBO which they sell for comparable prices. They also have a cooler of canned beer/ciders/sours. Every time I’ve been in, the staff have been so friendly and willing to explain the different products and provide recommendations (there are also helpful info tags on all the wines explaining the region/type of wine etc). I haven’t had a chance to try their frozen prepared food yet but they have a selection vacuum sealed homemade chicken stock, lasagna, meat sauces and soups which look great. Definitely stop by if you live close by and want to support a local business with a much more personable shopping experience than large stores!
